What is your cast role or crew position in Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical? Big Kid
What is your favorite Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical quote, song or scene — and why? My favorite song from this musical would have to be ¨Naughty¨. Not just because of how catchy it is but because I love the message the song brings to the show. ¨But nobody else is gonna put it right for me, Nobody but me is gonna change my story, Sometimes you have to be a little bit naughty¨ is my favorite lyric in the song. It shows how we can make a change for ourselves if we strive to do it and maybe bend some rules along the way.

What is your favorite role, act, or show that you have been a part of in high school? My favorite role I have ever played in a Gibson Southern Theatre show is Medda Larkin! That role taught me so much about myself and really brought me out of my comfort zone. Newsies will forever hold a special place in my heart.
Do you have a favorite story from your time spent in theatre? My favorite memories from Gibson Southern Theatre would have to be getting ready for each show back in the dressing room. The excitement we would all feel buzzing around the room as we got ready to put on our best performances for shows we worked long and hard at. Then the feeling of opening night when the curtain rises for the first time is exhilarating. It is the most perfect feeling. Also my other favorite memory would have to be our quick change group during Cinderella where we called ourselves the blood brothers.
What are your plans after high school? I plan on attending Cosmetology school!
What words of advice do you have for those thinking about joining Gibson Southern Theatre? Gibson Southern Theatre is and will forever be my home away from home. Everyone in the department is so close and the friendships you will make are lifelong. GSTD is the place for everyone.
