Founded in 1974 by Mrs. Kathy Parks, Gibson Southern Theatre is the award-winning theatre department of Gibson Southern High School in Fort Branch, Indiana. Producing three productions each year, including the community-favorite Vaudeville each December, a musical each March, and a student-written and directed Young Playwrights production each April, Gibson Southern Theatre has a reputation for high-quality performances that showcase our students’ work ethic and talent.
As a member of the International Thespian Society, Gibson Southern Theatre’s ITS Troupe #5623 has been awarded best in the state in 2005 and 2008 as well as represented Indiana at the International Thespian Festival in both 2008 and 2012.
