What is your favorite Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical quote, song or scene — and why? “Sometimes you have to be a little bit naughty” –This line really puts me in the magic of the show. It takes me back to childish memories that the show evokes.
How many Gibson Southern Theatre productions (including Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical) have you been a part of while in high school? I have done Vaudeville all 4 years, and this is my first musical.
What is your favorite role, act, or show that you have been a part of in high school? Miss Agatha Trunchbull
Do you have a favorite story from your time spent in theatre? My favorite memory was singing my line with Dylan Stefanich my freshman year as a homeless man.
What are your plans after high school? I plan to go to Marian University or the University of Evansville to pursue Education
What words of advice do you have for those thinking about joining Gibson Southern Theatre? Do not hold back. There will be a time when the curtain falls for the last time. Don’t let yourself have a piece of regret in your mind. If you are on the fence- JUMP! The only decision I regretted is not doing the musical sooner.
