What is your favorite Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical quote, song or scene — and why? “Nobody but me is going to change my story.” I like this quote because I like to be my own person. I control my own life.

What is your favorite role, act, or show that you have been a part of in high school? I enjoyed Vaudeville and being a part of the “Great Gatsby” act.
Do you have a favorite story from your time spent in theatre? There was one day that my act required someone to guide me. I was walking off stage when this person body slammed me into the dressing room door. I have forgiven this person. I learned from that day that something so serious and well-done can have some humor to make it more fun!
What are your plans after high school? My plans are to become a teacher, pursue a hobby in playing music and singing.
What words of advice do you have for those thinking about joining Gibson Southern Theatre? Do not rush things. Commit. Take everything in stride. Have fun with what you are doing.
