Week 2 of Footloose is checked off! We had lots of things to work on, including scene work, sets, and even finding costumes. Due to the missed week, our schedule has changed multiple times, but our kids have worked hard to ensure this electric show comes to life! Our choreographers, Loni and Sydney, worked hard this week to ensure our cast nails the intense dance numbers that Footloose is known for!
Our named characters were hard at work, traveling to the World Wide Missions Consignment Shop in Evansville to find ideas and clothing for their costumes in Footloose. We had to find outfits that fit our 80s theme, ranging from church wear to school outfits to even prom dresses. We scoured the store, searching for articles of clothing that would best fit our characters.
We are so thankful for the wonderful parents and volunteers who have helped bring our vision of Bomont to life. It is no easy feat to build a structurally sound railroad bridge but they have truly created something magical. Our beautiful Moore home is coming along well especially now that it has walls and the start of a side porch! We can’t wait to see what Week 3 of Footloose brings!
