What is your cast role or crew position in Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical? I play Eric, a classmate in Matilda.
What is your favorite Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical quote, song or scene — and why? I enjoy the “Smell of Rebellion” (PE) scene because of the fun choreography.
How many Gibson Southern Theatre productions (including Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical) have you been a part of while in high school? I have been in three Vaudevilles and I have also been in Newsies.
What is your favorite role, act, or show that you have been a part of in high school? My favorite had to have been the Neswie, Tommy Boy, that I played because of the crazy transformation that occured to all our mindsets.
Do you have a favorite story from your time spent in theatre? My favorite story has to be singing “I Want it That Way” in the boys dressing room.
What are your plans after high school? I plan on pursuing motorsport Engineering at IUPUI.
What words of advice do you have for those thinking about joining Gibson Southern Theatre? This is a special family made here. You get a totally different type of enjoyment out of theatre than you do sports. It is so much more than just acting and putting on a good show. If you can mess around with each other and be open to going out of your comfort zone, I highly advise you give theatre a shot.
