The November ITS meeting was held on Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at 7:30 AM in the GSHS Auditorium. The meeting was lead by Gibson Southern Theatre Director Adam Bledsoe.
It was announced that the VIP room for “Vaudeville” and “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying” will both be catered by R’z Cafe and Catering, a restaurant located in Fort Branch.
The main focus of the meeting was the upcoming trip to New York City planned for the Summer of 2014. The trip was recently approved by the school board for June 2-5, 2014. Those in attendance will fly out of Indy and the size of the group will be approximately 55 people. There will be multiple fundraising opportunities, some of which will include selling Pampered Chef items, and cookie dough. An informational meeting will be held November 11th at 7:00 PM. Students who wish to go on the trip will be required to attend this meeting, along with a parent or guardian. Ashe trip will be in conjunction with Junior Tours.
Gibson Southern Theatre previously traveled to New York City five times during Matt Hart’s tenure as Theatre Director. They also made trips to Los Angeles and Walt Disney World.
