What is your favorite Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical quote, song or scene — and why? LOUD bc I love the flashy costumes and over the top singing. It is very extra and me.
How many Gibson Southern Theatre productions (including Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical) have you been a part of while in high school? I have been a part of 4 vaudvilles, 4 musicals, and 3 YPP.
What is your favorite role, act, or show that you have been a part of in high school? Newsies was so fun, but Matilda has an edge I love.
Do you have a favorite story from your time spent in theatre? I love all the time I have spent doing boys makeup. I love the transformations I get to make.
What are your plans after high school? I will be attending the University of Missouri- St. Louis and studying psychiatry.
What words of advice do you have for those thinking about joining Gibson Southern Theatre? Don’t let the stress blur the memories and fun of GTSD.
