What is your favorite Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical quote, song or scene — and why? My favorite song is “When I Grow Up” because the song has a very deep meaning behind the childish lyrics the little kids sing.
How many Gibson Southern Theatre productions (including Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical) have you been a part of while in high school? 8
What is your favorite role, act, or show that you have been a part of in high school? I would have to say that NEWSIES and MATILDA are a close tie because I loved being a dancer in NEWSIES, but I also love being Rudolpho in MATILDA.
Do you have a favorite story from your time spent in theatre? My favorite memory is the opening night of each show because we get to debut all of the hard work we have put in the weeks/months prior.
What are your plans after high school? I plan to attend Purdue University to major in biochemistry/pre-med.
What words of advice do you have for those thinking about joining Gibson Southern Theatre? JOIN!!! Most of my favorite high school memories come from GSTD!
Do you have anything else to add? I cannot wait to step out on the GSTD stage and kill it with my fellow seniors one last time!
